Reporting to the Board of Directors of an Indigenous-owned development corporation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of Sasuchan Development Corporation (SDC). Leading a workforce of approximately 75 employees, the CEO fosters a high-performing culture with effective leadership, operational excellence, and strategic vision. Relationships are at the core of nurturing existing business partnerships and fostering opportunities to continue to grow SDC’s economy in a responsible and sustainable manner. The CEO is a trusted leader with high integrity who has a natural desire to lead and develop staff, build an effective organization, and ensure SDC has the talent and operational excellence needed to thrive.
The CEO of Sasuchan Development Corporation will fulfill the mandate of the Takla Lake Limited Partnership by creating wealth through investments and maximizing financial growth and returns while respecting the values, culture, and traditions of the Takla Lake First Nation.
